WATJ Board Meeting

Location: Tashibu Sensei’s house, 4:00 pm～

Attend: Kurt, Taeko, Laurie, Aki, Tomoko

Absent: Yoshi

Kurt: School’s parking is not available. Park on the streets.

Kurt: Talked with Mary Bernson (UW) about Clock Hours. Done.

Taeko: Buy Green tea.

Aki: Ask participants for bringing their own coffee cup.

Taeko: 49 people will attend to the Conference.

Taeko: 2 people want to be a member. Membership

Kurt: The observer should pay $30 student registration fee.

Taeko: 45 people will come. So we need 50+6 (5 out of 50 will be extra)Obento

       ( 1 for Kinokuniya, 1 for Erin-san, 2 for On-site registrants.)

We should prepare for,

l         Evaluation paper

l         Name tags

l         Member’s list

l         Door prize ($10 each. Rice? Shoyu?)

l         Advertisements

l         Motoko san’s handout

l         Program

Someone: Hyogo’s name should be on the cover page? Consulate? U-Prep?

Aki: Members list should be in the contents? We should exclude home phones.

Someone: Evaluation sheets will be included in the booklet.

Aki: OHP and a White board are ready for use. Mikako-sensei needs VCR.

Laurie: Banner is missing.

Taeko: 45 people and 2 from Kinokuniya.

Kurt and Laurie: Editing documents. Thanks!

All: Inoue-sensei, Odaijini.

Kurt: Called to Hitmark reagarding website.

Kurt: Someday, Conference papers should be published with Kato-sensei’s permission.
